You are the calm beneath the chaos

Does it feel like you’ve been running through honey all week?

You may be feeling weighed down by something that’s happened, something someone said, or an email you received that rubbed you up the wrong way. I see you.

These feelings are simply layers which, just like an onion, can be gently peeled away, revealing what’s truest at the core:

Bliss.

Beyond the physical body and the mind, we are pure peace – the ancient yogis call this deepest layer, Anandamaya-Kosha.

How far away from peace are you feeling right now?

My wish is for you to head into the weekend a bit lighter knowing whatever is weighing you down is not your truth. Your bliss state is not as far as you might think. Trust me.

Try these three ways to encourage self-compassion to uncover your purest essence:

  • Speak to yourself with love – take a moment to sit with your emotions, let them come forward and speak to yourself as you would to a dear friend; gently and without judgment.
  • Give yourself permission to pause – whether it’s a walk in nature or a quiet moment with a book, rest is not a luxury, it’s a necessity – embrace it.
  • Celebrate small wins – compassion begins with recognising your efforts, no matter how small. Acknowledge what you’ve achieved, even if it’s just getting through a tough week.

Through these simple acts of mindfulness, we can reconnect with our innermost layer of bliss and return to our true state.

You are the quiet calm beneath the chaos.

My intention for this email is for you to flow into the weekend feeling more spacious and connected to your inner wisdom.

Because your bliss state is your birthright and it’s closer than you think.
